Ipamorelin belongs to the most recent generation of GHRPs and causes significant release of growth hormone. Similar to GHRP-6 and GHRP-2, it suppresses somatostatin and increases the stimulation and release of Growth Hormone.
Ipamorelin is a penta-peptide hormone (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2), a growth hormone secretagogue and a small molecule ghrelin mimetic developed by Novo Nordisk. Ipamorelin belongs to the most recent generation of GHRPs and causes significant release of growth hormone. Similar to GHRP-6 and GHRP-2, it suppresses somatostatin and increases the stimulation and release of Growth Hormone (GH) from the anterior pituitary. Currently, there are few clinical trials involving Ipamorelin, which were first being studied in the 90s.
Ipamorelin significantly increases plasma growth hormone (GH) levels in both animals and humans. In addition, ipamorelin stimulates body weight gain in animals. Like GHRP-6, ipamorelin does not affect prolactin, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), or thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels. Ipamorelin is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, white lyophilized powder intended for subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, after reconstitution with sterile Water for Injection (0,3% m-Cresol).
+ Mechanism of action
The main effects of Ipamorelin are GH secretion stimulation, appetite promotion, fat mass decrease and muscle mass increase, lowering of cholesterol level, skin and bones state improving, defense of the liver and anti-inflammatory action.
After an athlete administers Ipamorelin, a selective pulse is sent that stimulates the hypothalamus/pituitary to release GH. This pulse can endure for approximately three hours after injection. Once the GH pulse is sent, the cells go directly to the muscle to support development while staying clear of any possible bone or cartilage growth. This is good for Ipamorelin users, as long term usage will effect lean body muscle growth without the possibility of experiencing any bone or cartilage deformities.
Ipamorelin will increase cell synthesis, elevate secretion levels of insulin from pancreatic tissue, and increase ghrelin in the stomach – which helps release GH and control hunger. All of these functions work to promote fat loss, shuttling of nutrients, and building clean muscle mass.

Ipamorelin Peptide is generally very well tolerated by most individuals when used at the recommended dosages of up to 200mcg per injection.

+ Instructions for reconstitution
The injection is given into the sub-cutaneous layer which includes adipose tissue (fat).
If you are using insulin syringes which have short needles, you will need to enter the skin at 90°. to the skin, otherwise you can inject as shown in the illustration above with a 29 or 30 gauge, 0.5″ needle.
Recommended dosage of Ipamorelin: 100mcg (0.10mg) once per day for anti-aging. Between 400-600 mcgs, divided in two or three doses per day for muscle gain and fat loss, directed via subcutaneous injections.
- This product can be used not more than 3 years from the production date (see box).
- After reconstitution, may be stored for a maximum of 14 days in a refrigerator at 2°C – 8°C.
- Store vials in an upright position.
- Store in a refrigerator (2°C – 8°C). Keep in the outer carton in order to protect from light.
- For one month can be stored at room temperature.
